Dear Friends and Partners,
Greetings from Fond-des-Blancs in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
As we approach the close of the academic year, we are filled with gratitude for what has truly been a remarkable season of growth and achievement. Across our schools, students have persevered, teachers have invested faithfully, and families have remained committed to the value of education. This year, we rejoice in the accomplishments of our graduates: 36 students completing their high school journey, 48 finishing 6th grade and preparing for the next academic level, and 88 young learners graduating from kindergarten. Each of these milestones represents not just academic success but hope for the future of their families and communities.

At Jubilee Farms, the rhythms of the land continue to reflect God’s provision. We are currently in the midst of harvesting corn, a vital crop for both sustenance and economic development. At the same time, we have begun construction of a clean room facility that will allow us to properly process and package agricultural products. This step forward will improve quality, increase market value, and open new opportunities for sustainability within the community.

We also celebrate a significant milestone in leadership development. The six participants of the Caleb Leadership Program are marking ten years of faithful service and impact in their respective communities. Over the past decade, these leaders have been instruments of transformation—guiding local initiatives, strengthening churches, and fostering holistic development. Their continued commitment is a powerful testimony to the vision of investing deeply in people who, in turn, invest in others.
Looking ahead, this summer will bring an exciting opportunity for fellowship and encouragement. Our church will host a regional convention for participating congregations of the MEBSH association. This gathering will unite believers from across the region for worship, teaching, and mutual strengthening as we continue to pursue the mission God has entrusted to us.
We remain deeply grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and faithful partnership. Your support makes these stories possible—stories of education, provision, leadership, and spiritual growth. Together, we are witnessing lives changed and communities transformed.
Shalom,
Jean L Thomas President Haiti Christian Development Fund (HCDF)
